Labor finalises candidates for Local Government Elections

NSW Labor has finalised the candidates for the 2024 Local Government Elections.

Anthony Ellard, with his team of Sam Daher and Siok Eng Chen were already endorsed unopposed for the Dundas Ward.

Following rank and file preselections, Anthony expressed delight he would be joined by Patricia Prociv (Rosehill), Hayley French (North Rocks), Cameron Maclean (Epping) and Sameer Pandey (Parramatta) as lead candidates.

"Some people say Labor had a messy process. I disagree. This is democracy at work. This is what good governance is all about" he said.

"The Liberals haven't learned the lessons of the past. Their state executive continues to impose candidates. Just 2 of their 5 lead candidates live in the LGA."
